From Brixham, Devon, Adrian spent his early years living on the Spanish mediterranean coast, encouraged to draw by his father who had illustrated maritime history books, encouraged to appreciate nature and plants by his mother, a school teacher. He studied horticulture and later qualified as a landscape architect in the UK in 1986, obtained a Masters in Landscape Architecture in 1992, worked in the Midlands of England as a land reclamation technician, arrived in Canada in 1994, becoming a registered landscape architect in 1995 to practice in Canada and became a LEED accredited professional in 2008.

Out of hours interests include tree planting and racing fast cars

Carole’s love for nature and appreciation of a sense of place came early in life when growing up in the Scottish borders. She pursued Landscape Architecture at the Cheltenham College of Art and Design in Gloucestershire, UK, obtained her Masters in Landscape Architecture in Birmingham in 1992, and shortly after arriving in Canada in 1994, became Registered with the BC Society of Landscape Architects.

Carole is your "go to” contact at Small & Rossell, and will help you execute your landscape project with experience and professionalism. She is an enthusiastic promoter of sustainable landscapes, permaculture and preservation of natural ecosystems. 

Her off-duty interests include spending time with family, growing fruit and vegetables and experimental cooking.
